Exsultet

The deacon, or priest, sings or reads the Easter Proclamation, known often as the Exsultet, after the lighting of the Paschal Candle at the Easter Vigil. Here is a beautiful version with the modern Latin text. I see many a Sung Mass in the Extraordinary Form in his future. The text can be found at-wait for it- Wikipedia. Yeah, I know, it's Wikipedia. But, liturgical articles are one of two options: very well-researched, or lacking. This one has excellent commentary on the prayer's form and how that places it in context of the liturgy. Look elsewhere for the 2010 translation. I hate copyrights from ICEL, the NAB, the CCC, etc.
