"The Tradition of Chant in the Roman Rite" Talk

This Sunday, August 18, following the 12:00 Missa Cantata, Dr. Paul Weber will give a talk entitled"The Tradition of Chant in the Roman Rite." It will be at 1:30 PM in the parish hall at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, which is my parish!

Dr. Weber is formerly of Franciscan University, and is currently the choir director and organist at St. Martin of Tours. Good things are happening, and he has such a good reputation from his former students, so it's worth coming to Mass and then the talk. Come if you are Catholic and are the following:

  1. You are new to chant and want to learn more.
  2. You are skeptical, especially in the Ordinary Form.
  3. You knew absolutely nothing about it until you read this post.
  4. You love Gregorian chant, and want to know more.
Finally, come and be converted if you aren't reconciled to the Church but need to be. :)

Also, I think I included every group of Catholic...so, come!

The address of the parish is 639 South Shelby St, Louisville, KY 40202. It is cosponsored by the local chapter of the International Federation "Una Voce" and the local Catholic radio station WLCR 1040 AM, on which Fr. Leger of Guardian Angels has a program.

Please attend, and then donate to the station and to the parishes that have the TLM.
