From the Facebook of Leah Darrow (the awesome model-turned-apologist/Chastity speaker! Like her page!):
“We believe in the separation of Church and State, but that is not the same thing as a separation between faith and politics. Faith is what we believe, politics is how we act. We are hypocrites if we fail to act in accord with our beliefs.” - Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M.
Now, Fr Mark is just awesome. His homily on the spiritual desert of the Exodus was awesome, and so was his homily on the wedding feast.

On family (From St Francis de Sales, who was a French bishop in Switzerland after the Revolt, and is now a saint and Doctor of the Church):
Raising a family does not consist in building a splendid residence and storing up vast worldly possessions but in training children well in the fear of God and in virtue. No trouble or labor should be spared to do this, for children are their father's and mother's crown. - St. Francis de Sales (from the Introduction to the Devout Life)
That's awesome. I hope to do that as a husband and father, which I called to in this point in my life. And this reminds me of this:

All I can say is what is with jerks in the grocery store? The mother of some good friends (11 of them!!) posted about this same thing on Facebook, and all I can say is that her response was awesome, and reflected her, her husband, and my friends really well. Oh and how can you not be disarmed by the presence of the toddler and infant?? Love them, and may almighty God bless them, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen!
